nodeJS raspberry pi

how to install nodejs on the raspberry

wget http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.8.11/node-v0.8.11.tar.gz
tar -zxf node-v0.8.11.tar.gz
cd node-v0.8.11
./configure
make
sudo make install

and after 2h... it's ok


$ curl http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.8.16/node-v0.8.16.tar.gz | tar xz
$ cd node-v0.8.16
$ ./configure
$ make
(... two hours of build output gibberish ...)
$ make install

or 
$ curl http://nodejs.org/dist/node-latest.tar.gz | tar xz 


$ node -v
v0.8.16
$ npm -v
1.1.69
$ which node
/usr/local/bin/node
$ ldd `which node`
